Ok, is there a brain in all the city of Washington?
I just read an article on Ford's losses surpassing $7billion. On one hand i cant believe that a company can work so hard at losing so much, and on the other I see they have a new boss that can hopefully work a turnaround, which is at least a step in the right direction.
I think we can all agree that bad management has been what is killing this company.
Today in the news i saw that the U.S. is going to be writing a check to LEBANNON, of all places, for over $12billion. For what? What is it they are doing that is worthy of a check? And its not only what are they doing.. its who exactly are we sending this check to? Who is going to get their grimey hands on this money?
I realize there are people that live there that are on the up-and-up... but money of this kind goes and is supposed to be "dispursed" to who knows who. I can almost guarantee that 99% of the "up-and-ups" will not see a dime of this money that goes for improving the country of Lebannon. Who will see it? I would bet all i have that Hezbollah will see a lot of this. An "organization" that is no better than the very terror we are fighting in Iraq and Afghanistan. An "organization" that is no better than the terror Israel faces every day in the Gaza Strip.
Are these "organizations" on the radar of anyone of intelligence in Washington? Is there a black curtain surrounding the people leading this country that they can't see what everyone else in this nation is aware of? The U.S. has hounded Israel to the point that they have freed up $100million to give to the "government" of the Palestinians. Anyone want to take a stab (no pun intended) at who leads those people?
Terrorists!!! Oh, who am i talking to here? I hope its a person of some importance. It seems like the people who matter don't get any of the news thats out there. Its like a bubble of ignorance surrounds them. They are all happy in their jobs and the money and importance they hold. And when it comes time to give them another term they resist what they hear and tell us "its not like you think", or,"if you read what i read you would think different" as if we don't see for ourselves.
Hey, why don't you tell me what it really says, please, Mr. elected official. And while you are at it.. wonder with me. If we have $12billion to spend on something.. what would be a better investment for our futura as a nation?
A)give it to a terrorist nation while they fight out their differences, giving them more cash to kill with, more weapons capabilities, ability to invest in larger weapons that could be used against US in the future.
B)give it to a nation with a bunch of terrorists in it that freely roam and impose their will on everyone else, giving them more weapons to kill with, more capabilities, ability to invest in larger weapons that could be used against US in the future.
C)give it to Ford, who is at least making a move in the right direction, thats in our own country, that could help put food on tables here in the United States, that would be put right back into our own economy.
If you had those three choices... how would you tell me you made your decision?
But then again.. maybe I read that part wrong.
